Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll

The finale to 2019’s cookie stroll. A mickey sugar cookie and a little bottle of milk.

I love Christmas! What better way to celebrate the season but with a visit to Epcot for the International Festival of the Holidays?

It is easy to get carried away and blow a ton of cash. One affordable and fun experience is to participate in the Cookie Stroll.

How does one do this?

Step 1: Pick up a passport. This can be found at the Kiosks offering cookies. This year, the kiosks include Bavaria Holiday Kitchen, American Holiday Table, Yukon Holiday Kitchen, Festival Favorites, and L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen.

Step 2: Go to the above kiosks, order a cookie, and get your passport stamped.

Here’s a rundown of each booth’s offerings.

Located at the Germany Pavilion, the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen is offering a delicious Linzer cookie.  Two delicate shortbread cookies sandwiched with delicious jam showcase a cute snowflake cutout. It is delicious and one cookie that I’m quite frankly too lazy to make at home. Big win!

  1. The American Holiday Table is located near the America Pavilion and features a chocolate crinkle cookie. This is a fudgy chocolate cookie, rolled in powdered sugar and baked to perfection.

These are an excellent choice for the American Pavilion. They truly represent a solid American Christmas Cookie!

  • The Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie is located at the Yukon Holiday Kitchen in Epcot’s Canadian Pavilion.
This multi-colored shortbread cookie is so cute and tastes buttery and crispy.  Thing 1 and I are planning to recreate this one at home!
  • It would not be right if the Gingerbread Man were not part of this annual stroll. You can find him waiting for you at the Festival Favorites kiosk within the World Showcase. I don’t know what else to say about him.  If there were a ranking of the most quintessential holidays, I think there would be a solid tie between the Gingerbread man and the frosted sugar cookies.
  • Last, but certainly not least is the AMAZING black and white cookie from L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen near France.  It is HUGE and soft. The black and white hard icing on top is the perfect compliment.

Step 3:  So, now you’ve eaten ALL the cookies and remembered to get all your stamps (don’t forget this unless you like a lot of extra walking. Ask me how I know).  Well, now the only thing left to do is to take your stamped-out passport to Holiday Sweets and Treats located in Showcase Plaza. Redeem your passport for a peppermint Minnie cookie.

At $2.50 per cookie, this stroll is an affordable and fun way to sample treats around Epcot in December. Each cookie is shareable and so seasonable!  This price point at Walt Disney World is unheard of!

Just as an FYI, you do not need to complete your passport in one visit. This stroll is going on from now through December 31st. If you are local or have more than one day to spend in Epcot, this is worth noting.

If you are heading to Walt Disney World this holiday season, be sure to join in on the holiday cookie stroll fun!
