Epcot’s Garden Graze 2021

Remember last month when I gave you the details on Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival here.

Well, Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival has a bonus way for you to sample 5 Vegan-Friendly recipes while enjoying some fun freebies.

Curious?  Enter Epcot’s Garden Graze 2021!

Playing is not only simple, it’s economical and can be completed over multiple visits.

To participate, first acquire a FREE Flower and Garden Passport. The Stamp Page and list of outdoor kitchens is located there.

Next, try all 5 items from various kitchens around the park. Be sure to get a stamp when purchasing. As someone who had to traipse back and get a stamp at the end of the evening, I can’t recommend remembering this step enough!

Finally take the stamped passport to Pineapple Promenade for a free prize.

The five dishes included in the garden graze this year were as follows:

Lemon Magdalena Cake with Fig Compote and Sangria Gel Located at Taste of Marrakesh in Morocco

Feedback. Gorgeous dessert offering, complete with an edible flower. The lemon cake is moist and rich with lemon flavor. The fig compote was decadent. My kids were not fans, so I ate the bulk of this and felt it. Delicious!

Potato Pancakes with house-made applesauce

Feedback:  Thing 3 gave this two thumbs up. This dish is exactly like it’s name. One potato pancake covered in applesauce.

The other things enjoyed the ham and onion counterpart.  This dish is located at Bauernmarkt in Germany.

Pineapple Skewer with Tajin.  Located at The Refreshment Outpost near Africa.

This juicy and chilled skewer of pineapple was sprinkled with Tajin seasoning. It was simple. The sweet and salty contrast was delicious. My kids were a no-go on this one, so again, I ate the bulk of this one alone.  I prefer the ling hi powder available in Hawaii, but it was tasty, nevertheless.

Boneless Impossible Korean Short Rib with Cilantro-Lime Rice, Danmuji Slaw, and Kimchee Mayonnaise from Trowel and Trellis

It tasted like meat to me.  It was not exactly like a short rib, but it was good. The things all sampled it willingly.

Grilled Baby Vegetables and Hummus Cream and Red Pepper Coulis from Flavor Full Kitchen.

After eating a lot of treats, some grilled veggies hit the spot.  “Hummus Cream” seemed like, well, hummus.  The vegetables were not as warm as I would have liked. But they were tasty!  The kids were 100% not having it but were happily chowing down on the Strawberry Mousse with Chocolate Pearls being sold by Flavor Full Kitchen.

THE GRAND FINALE:  Bring your stamped passport to the Pineapple Promenade and earn a FREE Lime Dole Whip in a souvenir glass.  Use this glass to grow the bonus prize of a packet of Purple Opal Basil Seeds.

The total cost for participating is $25.25!  Most items are under $5, so this stroll is a great bang for your buck activity!

Which item are you most excited to try first?  Let me know in the comments below!
